About The Wigwam Resort - Red Course (Litchfield Park, AZ)
The Red Course was created by Red Lawrence, the golf course architect responsible for Arizona's first desert golf course. His work at The Wigwam is a complement to The Gold and Blue Courses. With a length in between its two siblings, The Red plays alongside and over streams and ponds. Set among a forest of pines and eucalyptus, the golfer is transported through exclusive estates, which are part of the Wigwam's rich neighborhood.

Murray says:
The course is nothing spectacular. The practice facilities are a very long distance away from the Red course. The score card or each tee box should have a picture of what the holes look like. Not knowing this puts a first-timer to the course at a disadvantage.

Joe (Glendale, AZ) says:
The red course reminded me alot of typical New England courses. From tee to green nothing stood out to me. The only pleasure I found in this course were the beautiful homes that surrounded it. We also found this course to have the slowest pace of play. I would recommend playing either of the other two courses at the wigwam instead of the red course.
